These General Terms and Conditions govern the use of the website operated by the Service Provider and the services that can be ordered via the website, as well as by phone, e-mail, or other electronic means.


2. Scope of the GTC

These GTC apply to the legal relationship between the Service Provider and any natural person, legal entity, or other organization ordering services.

Services covered in particular include:

  • maintenance of gas appliances
  • repair of gas appliances
  • commissioning of gas appliances
  • appliance replacement
  • modernization of heating systems
  • installation, commissioning, or other mechanical engineering works related to heat pump systems
  • other building engineering works performed based on individual quotations

3. Definitions

Service Provider: the company defined in these GTC, Gas Solution Ltd.

Client: the person or organization using the Service Provider’s services

Consumer: a natural person acting outside their trade, profession, or business activity. Special rules for consumer contracts are governed by Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.)

Individual quotation: a written offer provided by the Service Provider for a specific job

Contract: an individual agreement concluded between the Service Provider and the Client, governed by these GTC


4. Nature of the Services

The information provided on the website is for informational purposes only and does not constitute a binding offer unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Services are typically provided based on an individual assessment, on-site consultation, or technical data provided by the Client.

The final price, technical content, deadline, and payment terms are defined in the individual quotation, confirmation, or separate contract.


5. Formation of the Contract

The contract may be concluded:

  • via telephone agreement
  • via e-mail order and confirmation
  • by submitting a contact form on the website and receiving confirmation
  • by accepting a written quotation
  • by signing an on-site order form or a separate contract

The contract is concluded when the Service Provider accepts or confirms the order.


6. Quotations and Prices

The Service Provider may provide individual quotations for its services.

Unless otherwise stated, prices are in Hungarian Forint (HUF).

Validity period of the quotation: as specified in the quotation.

The quotation does not include unforeseen additional work, extra parts, or labor costs identified during fault diagnosis unless explicitly stated.

The Service Provider reserves the right to inform the Client about additional work or costs arising during fault diagnosis and to perform such work only after approval.


7. Client Obligations

The Client shall:

  • provide accurate data
  • ensure access to the work location
  • provide the necessary technical conditions
  • give truthful information about the appliance, system, and previous faults
  • pay the agreed fees and costs

The Service Provider shall not be liable for damages or extra costs resulting from incorrect, incomplete, or false information provided by the Client.


8. Performance of Services

The Service Provider performs the service at a pre-agreed time or within the deadline specified in the contract.

Performance may depend on:

  • availability of parts
  • site conditions
  • involvement of third parties
  • weather or force majeure circumstances
  • cooperation of the Client

The Service Provider may use subcontractors.


9. Payment Terms

Payment methods are defined in the quotation or invoice, including:

  • cash
  • bank transfer
  • in some cases, card or electronic payment

Unless otherwise agreed, the Service Provider issues an invoice after completion, which the Client must pay within the specified deadline.

In case of late payment, the Service Provider is entitled to charge default interest according to applicable laws (Hungarian Civil Code).


10. Cancellation and Rescheduling

The Client must notify cancellation or modification of an appointment without delay.

The Service Provider may charge a call-out or cancellation fee (e.g., in case of cancellation within 24 hours) if preparation or travel has already occurred.

The exact fee may be specified in the quotation or price list.


11. Consumer Information

If the Client qualifies as a consumer, Hungarian laws apply, particularly Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.), which regulates distance and off-premises contracts, including information, performance, and withdrawal rules.


12. Right of Withdrawal (Consumers)

Consumers have the right to withdraw or terminate without justification in cases defined by law.

For service contracts, consumers may exercise this right within 14 days from the conclusion of the contract.

If the consumer requests early performance before the 14-day period expires, this may be recorded.

If the service is fully performed with the consumer’s prior consent and acknowledgment of losing the right of withdrawal, the right can no longer be exercised.

Sample declaration:

„I hereby request Gas Solution Ltd. to begin performance of the ordered service before the expiration of the 14-day withdrawal period. I acknowledge that upon full performance of the service, I may lose my right of withdrawal in accordance with applicable law.”


13. Warranty for Defects

In case of defective performance, the Client may enforce claims under applicable laws, particularly the Hungarian Civil Code.

The Client must report defects without delay.

The Service Provider is not liable for defects resulting from:

  • improper use
  • intervention by the Client or third parties
  • pre-existing faults
  • violation of manufacturer instructions
  • lack of maintenance

14. Warranty (Guarantee)

If a warranty applies by law or declaration, its terms are specified in separate documentation (invoice, warranty certificate, or contract).

Mandatory warranty rules in Hungary are defined by law and may change over time.


15. Limitation of Liability

The Service Provider is not liable for damages resulting from:

  • prior defects or hidden faults
  • operational deficiencies
  • third-party service errors
  • force majeure events

The Service Provider is not responsible for decisions made by the Client based solely on website information without on-site assessment.

This does not affect liability that cannot be excluded by law.

17. Conciliation Body and Consumer Protection

In case of a consumer dispute, the consumer may contact a conciliation body.

18. Data Protection

  • GDPR (EU 2016/679)
  • Hungarian Act CXII of 2011

19. Copyright

All content on the website (texts, images, graphics, logos) may be the intellectual property of the Service Provider or respective rights holders.

Use without prior written consent is prohibited unless permitted by law.
